Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Demo Out NOW!!!

I know that this isnt the right place to post this but im sure that many battlefield players have been anticipating this game and just wanted to let you guys know the demo was released this morning. I wont bother putting a link up to it as i could be banned and more importantly it is much easier if you just type it in to google and find it yourself. Anyway have fun playing it

i guess my expectations were too high. I dont like the controlls and the AI seemed retarded. my troops kept getting lost and i had a staring contest with an enemy. I also found a glitch where when you lay down in the main square (on your way to and from the Limo) your guy goes crazy.

Having played only a few minutes so far, my biggest complaint is the mouse smooth which you cant seem to disable (i havent looked for any .ini files yet). Also, it crashes if i set video to 1280x1024 so i'm stuck playing with 1024x768.

The graphics are about what i was expecting(good) and the sound is just average with a few occasional glitches(upon reloading, a machinegun was going off by itself nonstop with nobody around it).

I need to reconfigure the controls because at the moment i find them somewhat confusing but thats no big deal, just take some getting used to.

All in all its everything i was hoping for and then some. There were a few times i was sneaking through the alley and got startled by odd noises only to realize it was me kicking cans,lol.

I tried it, only run it if you have an AMAZING pc.

Could barely run it on low graphics.

But when i did run it up (thought i could) the game did look very good.

To bad i can't play it... :cry:

So sad. I've waited a long time for this game & it comes out with clunky graphics, cumbersome movement controls & just plain wierd tactic controls. I have a pretty hot machine & I have to turn it way down. I understand it might not yet be fully optimised but the demo is meant to sell it!!

I suppose it is BF2 until at least UT2k7

ive just downloaded it from File Planet & the game wont even load. I get the flash screen & thats about it, back to desktop??

I dont have a "pretty hot" machine as i only have a 9800 pro and i can still play with everything on medium except with the advanced lighting off and AF set to trilinear.
