i tryed somthing differnt for a change!!!!!

well,i usaly play sniper but i bought a joystick and have had a little pracy on sp with choppers and planes.

so i decided to try and have a go flying a plane :)

i chose a 24/7 wake server to give me a chance of getting a plane.

my previous attempts of flying with a keyboard landed my plane stats with a 0.40 k/d ratio 2kills 24 deaths.

i also wanted to get my basic aviator badge.

so i join china spawn at the air base,and get in a j10 and up in the air i went.
note i only practiced the controls on the joystick in sp.

so i am familiar with switching bombs /missisle ect.

but to my surprise i was killing choopers and usmc planes so easy.
i died 1 time due to a rearming incident(came in a bit to low)

back in the j10 and off i go again.
now my bombing skill is not that good but i did down 3 tanks,and a load of planes,heli

now i have read threads saying the j10 is overpowerd ect,but me a noob was in the air the whole round getting 18kills 1 death(errr 1 more kill i would of got a ribbion aswell)i got my basic aviator aswell.

anytime somthing locked on to me a just put the after burner on and pull hard left/right and i lost the lock?????

yet when i was locked on to enemy planes they didnt seem to be able to shake the lock,

in no way did i think i was losing the lock due to my skill,i have none afterburner+fulllock left,right is the only skill i needed to get away.
and a few seconds on lock on sound to down a plane,heli.

dont get me wrong i had fun up there flying but it just seemed to easy.
i can imagine what a vet pilot could do in this thing(scary)

anyway after a few rounds i went back to sniping,but my aviator k/d ratio is now 1.61 and thats after 2-3 rounds of flying.

anythoughts on the j10 and skill invoved flying this thing would be great,and other comments ar welcomed aswell.

I did not vote cause you could choose all of them

If your against really good pilots then you need a lot of skill to stay in the air (same for good people in AA)

If your against noob pilots then it is alot easier to stay in the air

If the sky is full of enemy aviator or are awsome then they need to be nerfed:laugh: (joke)


Overall i think it depends who you are flying against

its just i have read alot of threads about the j10 being overpowerd,and after flying one for the 1st time (wholeround) i found easy to shake a lock and down planes.

just wonderd what other ppl thought about this plane(j10) the whole time i was in the air i felt invunrable to lock and other planes.never did i attempt to kill ppl on the carrier i wanted them to get up and dogfight with me.

the pole well,i wasnt sure what to put in there so i improvised a bit.

Did the same thing. Bought myself a Joystick and practised a little in sp. Also on a empty server, flying the J10 and F35.

If you fly the F35, you can't get away from the J10. Even if you throttle down, break right and using the afterburner. You can use all the good manuvers, flying in a loop, go to 500ft and do a downwards loop.

Tried the same thing with the J10 and with average pilots in the air, on the server, you can down that pilot.
The F35 feels heavy in turns, compared to the J10 that feels more light and better to fly.

I like groundpounding. I have played BF2 since july 05. First time I have ever tried to fly a plane in BF2. I just don't like the fact that there are new players who wants to fly and if they don't get the plane, they place themselfs in front of the plane so I tk them when taking off.

So rather pound some ground and be cannonfodder, than fly and get a 1-10 K/D ratio

For me the J10 feels just better than the F35.

Ok the J10 IMO is a better plane than the rest but i dont consider it over powered

The J10 can be brought down just as easily as the rest it just has alittle bit more in some departments(faster/agile)

menace, have you ever tried to shoot down a J10 with an F35b? : EVERY missile misses except if they are flying completely straight...

I dont know which is the F35b i can tell you i think i have used every plane up against the J10( maps with the j10 on ) and i have not really had any problem

Now if the F35b does do that then it is that plane and not the J10 being overpowered sounds more like bad coding or something for that plane
