im still laughing about this :p I was defending the Gatehouse on karky as per usual and someone snuck behind me and hid by the crates, I lobbed a grenade at him and just saw You have killed blahblah....WTF!? Then *boom* ..... He said he saw it come at his screen and then he was dead, 3 seconds later it exploded, anyone else ever had death by thrown items? lol

Yeah I've had this happen a few times to me aswell! What's funny is that a bullet to his head wont kill him unless it's a rifle, however getting hit by a nade does :p -

Well of course a big 1-2 pound piece of metal is gonna do some damage to someone. I've done damage to teammates and enemies like this before but never a kill. Supposedly a direct hit with a smoke grenade is instant kill.Originally posted by TriggerSpasmComment

grenades and smoke bombs do 1 bar of damage if you hit a person with it.Comment

Yeah, I was killed by an unexploded nade, too.
I was squad leader and my mates were using me as start-location. So i got the gren at my head and died: it exploded and killed the two squad-members.

I killed some one with an unexploded nades a few days ago, he was lying down and i threw it at his face and he died i was rofl at the time and he was like wtf!Comment

I have never been killed by a smoke grenade before, but one hit me once when my co-pilot in the heli threw one to hide our chopper as an APC was coming and we were waiting for it to spawn, if i remember correctly it took about 1/3 of my health, ouch.Comment

Yea, one time I had it happen a guy was driving a buggy right at me and I threw a grende out of sheer panick and it hit him in the nogin and killed him, the jeep rolled to a stop and I ran to it to get in and Boom the grenade killed me and a squad member, I watched the replay it bounced off his head and came back at me.Comment

to u ppl who say ui cannot kill a guy with a smoke grenade are wrong, i killed a teamte with a smoke grenade, right after we both spawned....we both had full health, and i lobbed a smoke grenade at his face, while waiting for the hummvee at gas station, and sure enough, one hit kill......we both laughedComment

I did that once, but it was with a smoke grenade, and it actually came up:
