Check your video card temperatures, it is a video card problem, make sure that it has sufficient cooling.
If you OC, that is probably why.
This is something that happens before a video card dies...
I see you have a 7900GT which is very recent. If youve got that warranty, call Nvidia.

Or more simply . . . update your video card drivers. I had exactly the same thing until I updated mine.

He would need to call XFX, not Nvidia.

It's not that bad really. While I was having the problem the graphical errors would actually stem from other players. All I had to do was aim for the middle of the point of origin and I would get a kill. Very handy for picking off snipers that would otherwise be hard to see. Couldn't do it for too long though as it would just give me a headache.

Well I updated my drivers, and that didnt help. And I dont overclock, I even tried underclocking a tad and while testing the new clock speeds my computer keeps freezing and I get blue screen errors! I think I might just have to call XFX and see if I can get another card, hopfully it isnt XFX cards becasue I had a eVGA 7800gt and it worked great. Anyone else have any ideas?

You should run a artifact test and try some other games before assuming it's the video card.

Oblivion is unplayable as well. And I ran 3d Mark 05 and some of the tests showed artifacts too. Time to give XFX a call

Either a damaged card or bad drivers yea, since you tried the drivers route I'd say it'stimeto getin touch with the manufacturer too.
