thats easy to fix, just update your punkbuster

            1.download pbweb.exe

            2.place the pbweb.exe in program files>EAGAMES>battlefield2>pb

3.double click the pbweb.exe file. A command prompt will open and begin updating the game.

4.when done you will be asked to press any key to close, try running the game but you might wanna restart just in case

if this doesnt help you are screwed :p

No.. There is a problem with your connection isn't only a PB matter or general bug. It's there to work as a warning system! Suprised, eah? Hehe.

Either the server went down or your internet is ****ed. :)

I had this problem, my game used to crash every 30 minutes or so, it was realy anoying, i searched and searched till i finaly found this, I never had this problem since I did this

if you have the connection problem to often you should at least try this, if it happens like once ina while its not a big deal, thats normal

I try your suggestion and I played yesterday evening. I remember only one connection problem for all the evening. Before, I had this problem 1 or 2 time per round. It's a huge improvement. Thanks
