I'd like to see one of two changes to the spawn system. Having static spawn points can lead to problems. More than once I've spawned to a claymore pointing at me, or an APC spamming that unoccupied spot knowing that someone will spawn there.
Idea 1) Have the spawns tweaked to be less "campable." In the UT games, you usually don't spawn IN the line of fire. You generally spawn a reasonable distance away from enemies. I know, I know, spawn somewhere else. Well, if you join a server, and your first 3 spawns at 3 different points result in spawning dead, that isn't cool at all.
2) Have the spawns ABOVE the spawn point, so you parachute in. That way you'd never be able to spawn on a claymore or APC fest. And snipers would have to WORK to spawn camp. It could also open up more places to fight from, as well. All that wasted real estate on the rooftops of Karkand would be a potential place from which to attack.
These are just a couple ideas. This came about from a round of Karkand against a squad of snipers. They posted claymores at the known spawn locations on a few spawn points, and waited for the points to roll in. Their commander dropped a couple supply crates, and they kept it up for a while. Sneaky guys, too.
