Poll: Number of rounds per map

How many rounds per map do you think is just right?

I really hate 1 or 2 rounds. Sometimes I want to play a map for more than 1 or 2 rounds but it seems most servers like 1 or 2 rounds. It really sucks to get in a map you like for 2 minutes before it switches to another map.

p.s. anyone know how to update the poll?

it sucks, but it happens (your case of getting in and only getting to play 2 minutes). But I don't want to see a map over and over and over again.

2-3 at the most. the reason is just like you said. "you" dont want to switch a certain map after just 2 rounds but everybody else dont want play yours or switch their favorite either. So on sever side to keep people happy, no more than 3 but most likely 2.

I play on Moongamers Oman and Karkand only servers almost exclusively. I do search out the ocassional change up like Daqing Oilfields but for the most part the Moongamers servers are always full. Always. *Many* people it seems apparently do enjoy playing a single map over and over.

If you play for awhile in the same server, anything over 2 seems to get a bit repeatetive. Then again I play in those so called "BF ROE illigal" servers that have 16-20 players on 64 size maps. Takes awhile to get through a round.

But at least you can enjoy the round, and not be map switching constantly while the entire opposite team are all really good and just looking for the win for there War College ribbon. The 16-20 player w/64 maps seem to be more well rounded for some reason. I also play the game for fun, so I enjoy a map for longer than 15 minutes, which races by in-game. Sure I like stats, I like points....and yes you get points in these servers. But let me just add that it takes 2-3 times as long to get them. So why they are supposed to be illigal is beyound me...

I say 3. This way rounds last for a while and you get tiebreakers. They have to be long enough for everyone to settle in and play their best. Its hard to learn the maps if the rounds are too short.

If I wanna play the map, then at least 2 to 3 or more. (I currently am digging Great Wall and there's not enough servers running it) If I don't wanna play the map then 0. I just leave.

I play on moongamers too. You should put your PID in your profile so I can look for you next time you are on.

Slightly off topic, is it me or is it really hard to find a server running Daqing?

2 at maximum here, I just can't stand more than 2 rounds on the same map...

I prefer 3... 2 is ok but too much time loading. I like the insta-start factor when you don't have to load the next map.

I personally like the 24/7 servers regardless of what map is playing. For example if today I feel like playing Oman or any other map, I don't want the server to switch maps after 2 rounds played, and I have to spend another 15min looking for another good Oman server with good ping etc, that's why I chose unlimited.
