bf2player has way better/faster servers but the interface is nothing next to bf2s

Yeah BF2s has all the stats that bf2player has except that it also has a section with all your awards.

You would mouseover the award and it would give you info on what you needed to do to get it. It would also put black underlines under the award to let you know that you have only 1 requirement left to earn it and can earn it in your next match.

it's great it's gone, site was useless, neverupdated, forum wasn't constructive at all (bunch of kids) and they still had all the requrements wrong. like 4500 hours for a SF medal.

Then ppl would post on this forum "uhh 4500, i saw it at BF2S.COM, HELP ME"

gimme a break, i hope they never return

There are other sites that are better anyway...BF2player...to name one. IMO, bf2s sucked. Lots of info, but you have to wait hours for it to update, which to me, defeats the purpose of wanting to look at a bf2 stats website.

I thought the reason why it would only update every 2 hours, or add you to a queue, was to reduce lag that EA claimed these type of servers were causing. This was around the time 1.03 was out, I believe.

I just went to BF2players.com and it does have an Award's section, you just have to click on 'Awards' at the top of your profile :-P

BF2s.com looked better because it followed the BF2 theme, I guess, but BF2player.com has all the same information it seems.

Back on Topic,

They have had some problems this week and I am still waiting from a word from our clan prez to see what he figured out. We use this site alot also and it's terrible to see such a good community tool have problems.

All stat sites have some flaws (temporary or long term) but this is a very good site that updates very frequently (just about as fast as my sig) and props should go to these people that work so hard for us.
