I agree a pilot class should be implemented however if they are going to put one in they need to boost the pistol damage cause the pistol will be the only weapon they should get. I am not sure if there is any other weapons pilots use if im not mistaken there may be a sub machine gun they use.

Yes there could of been, alot of things was in the beta version of BF 2 they had civilian vehicles you could drive, also on the kubra dam map there was a big dump truck that drove around. The player skins looked alot different the MEC guys looked more like insurgents so im not suprised they if they did make a pilot class at one point.
I really don't think EA has the abilty to do this I think this option would be best implemented in a mod like FH 2 or DC 2.

I'm sorry? I'm only fluent in English and possibly a little bit of Cantonese.
A Pilot Class would be cool, but you could only have 1 or 2 slots at any given time (depending on the amount of aircraft available), because it would be absolutely useless if you were not flying.. matter of fact, I'd go on to say that if you managed to select one of the pilot slots at the opening of the round, you should spawn directly in the jet (or right next to it) so that you're ready to go and don't have to fuss over TKs, racing, etc
Once you're killed in the jet, maybe a message could be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen (just like the kill tracking / flag capping notifications) like "F-18 piloted by [username] is down" and the pilot(s) slots would unlock automatically so that anyone playing could immediately apply for it (this part of the system would need to be carefully designed obviously to keep it fair), or something along those lines. I think it'd be great.
And to keep it straight, the Pilot Class would only be equipped with a pistol and a smoke nade maybe; if you eject, you're on your own.
Yah, I can picture it now, instead of 20 nublets with varied kits standing on the runway, there will be 20 nublets with just a pistol standing on the runway. Then, someone will sneak into their base, grab a tank and rape the living **** out of them as they all scramble around with their pistols. By the time he has killed all of them, his friends will show up and help him spawn rape them. One or two of them mite die, but they will just respawn as the pilot class and steal their aircraft. Then, they finally manage to fight them guys off and the jets and helicopter respawn, but they can't use them because they have the wrong kit, so you have a mass suicide exodus and everyone racing as they respawn with the right kit.
If even a pkm whore came within 30 yards of the runway, he would just own the sh*t out of them. Sure he mite get killed once they respawn, but not until after he just racked up 10 easy kills, then he could just respawn and come on back.
Good idea that just wouldn't work out unless they literally made it so that the enemy cannot physically enter another teams main base, and even then, there would be problems on maps like Clean Sweep.
A pilot class would be nice except it would mean that nobody else could use aircraft like only a medic can use paddles. Sometimes you need to be able to jump in a transport helo and get moving.
