Lag in helicopter on SF?

I figure it was because of abuse, but I just noticed there was no more DICE forum to post in.

Either way, if DICe ever reads this, I simply wanted to know if they had looked over the "lag while in helicopter in Special Forces" glitch, and if they had a possible solution to this annoying problem.

I know I know, post in the proper forum, but sometimes my searches come back empty. Hell, sometimes I don't even find anything with "machstem" in the search. :)

Either way, maybe someone has an answer here! It's just one of those issues where I'd love to play more of BF SF but don't find it's worth it when I want to jump and fly in a helicopter.

Yeah post in the proper forum. This was in the TotalBF2 Clan forum (until I moved it).

Your original thread title had nothing to do with what you were mainly discussing in your thread.

Also, the DICE forum was removed because it had apparently turned into another discussion forum which we already have.

Hence why I had posted what I did on the TBF2 clan forum, because I was more curious as to why there was no more DICe forum.

Either way, my main question stays the same: Does DICE/EA even recognize this issue? Do they continue to offer any form of support through this forum?

Since this problem is relevant for several people, and was not adressed in 1.21 nor in 1.22, I'm simply going to keep bringing this subject up until I get an answer from them rather than public members or moderators that can't seem to offer me advice on how to fix this issue, other than lowering my graphics/sound settings.

I understand this, I've yet to read an answer. This is a bug that needs addressing. Seems to me no1 has an answer, they all seem to agree there is a problem or that they don't have a problem.

I want something more than bandwagon discussions.

So, I deleted my cache sub-folders in "My Documents" to see if that would help, and at first it hadn't made a difference (BUMM server or something like that).

I switched servers and went somewhere else (clan was stacking, becoming annoying) and within the first 5minutes of play I jumped in an Apache. Surprise surprise, I was choppy for about 1minute, and all of a sudden I wasn't getting any lag. I was extremely happy to have been able to FINALLY fly the Apache, as it is my all-time favorite helicopter.

In truth, I have to admit that I enjoy the SuperCobra alot better in the game, but as far as looks, feel, sound...the Apache kicks ass! :) Without any lag, I was able to pull off crazy in-between building spins, my gunner was offering nothing but great kills on building tops, etc.

By flying we had turned the tables around...

I haven't gathered how I should line up the TV guided for the gunner though, it's alot lower than I thought.

All in all, I might just have found a new love for the game as I can now safely fly the helicopter without too many lag spurts.

Mmmm, Apache!!!
