Can you edit your BF2 files?

Is it possible to insert your own custom content into BF2 without getting raped for it by Punkbuster?

For example, could you insert your own loading music? Could you replace the radio voices with your own?

Also, how do you do it?

No.

Punkbuster will kick you for modded content.

To do it open the zip files in EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Common_client.zip and the other client zip. Can't recall at the moment. But everything from music to sounds and much more are in the zip.

About the only thing you can change freely is the localisation files.

You can use the editor and create your own mods if you want custom content but your features wont work on Ranked servers for example.

What was the way to delete the intro movie? I know there are like 2 files you are supposed to keep in there?

Just add '+restart 1' (without quotes) to your BF2 shortcut(s), less hassle.

acutally u can delete all teh videos in tehre

the two that u "shouldnt delete" are just the bground movies in the menu

"menu.bik" and "menu_loggedin.bik" are the videos that run behind the browser, the others are the loading videos and can be deleted to save loading times. You can remove those 2 as well if you like and you will just get a grey background instead of the gameplay videos in the browser, but they dont save any time while loading
