Invisible gunner bug or not ?.

Yesterday i was playing on our server (totalbf2 clan server see sig for details ) and there was a very strange thing that happened . I managed to get myself on top of the tallest building at the hotel on mashuurate city. While up there i spotted an enemy jump into a vodnik and the guy got on the 50 cal . Thing was he was shooting the crap out of everyone i could see his name clearly and see the gun firing and my squad mates dieing left right and centre but i couldn't see him. I though it was a graphics glitch or something so i tried shooting were he should of been i put a full 2 clips into were he should of been but he never died. He only died in the end when i threw down all my nades and the vodnik blew up.



Now as the title says is this a bug or could it be something else I've read on another forum the same thing happened to someone else yesterday but with the 50 cal on a tank (same map mashuurate city). Ive personally never seen this before and I've never even heard of it on this or any other forum until i saw it yesterday and read about it today.

If you look at that picture thats exacterly how it looked to me all the time but the 50 CAL was moving and shooting everyone and i couldnt see him or shoot him .

I see this all the time too....

Very frustrating when you have a clear shot and can do nothing about it. Don't know if it's a bug or hack or what, no idea.

Thats the problem i couldnt shot him i shot all around the back of the 50 CAL 2 clips worth while it was firing and he didnt die.

Yep, got it too yesterday. I was shooting in his invisible face and pwned him
But i hope it will be fixed in 1.3 because the force isn't always with me..

If you would have thrown your bunnies from your sniper kit unlock, they would have found him.

That happens all the time, If you spawn in something and you're in the gunner seat you look like that. Now if you kneel down or something it goes back to normal.

I should have posted something about this earlier.

He never spawned in the vodnik he spawned else were ran to the vodnik jumped into it (i saw him in the drivers seat) he then swtiched to gunner i saw his name move and and he started shooting but there was no one to shoot at he was invisible.

I've posted screenshots of this before. Search the forums for 'invisible player' and you will see my thread and screenshots. Bullets go right through and hit the 'hatch'. I don't believe it's a hack. I've seen it at random on Mashtuur and Karkand.

Seen this a few times, it first appeared in 1.2

nah i have seen it before then.

Think its a bug as i have only seen it like 3 times in total in 700 hours of playing.
