Hey guys hows it hangin,
I've had BF2 for quite a while and I playedit for months with no problems on my old PC, but i could only run it on low settings. Well I decided to build a new PC:- AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
- 3 GB RAM
- NVidia 7800 GTX 256 MB
- Sound Blaster X-Fi Audio [8000]
So anyway i reinstall BF2, but I lost the origianl cd key so I ha to buy one from e-bay, and when i start the game i get through the cinematic and I try to retrieve my old account and it freezes and the sound starts to skip and then goes to full distortion. I try to hit ctrl+alt del but I find that my keyboard doesn't work. Now my only option is to restart. I tried to reinstall but I get the same problem. Also my discs are rather scratched, but don't know if that has anything to do with it. I was tempted to buy a new copy but I wasn't sure what the problem was.
