wow man, oh well, we all make mistakes, thats what makes life funny

my problem is that i press down B or whatever but then I see the sound icon but when I speak nothing happens and noone can hear me, not even myself. I'm gonna try the volume thing but when i checked my audio thing trhere was no "playback" button when I hit options, any suggestions or have you all already done all you can?

Someone once told me I needed "teamspeak" so I got it but I have no idea how it works lol

although none of you tried to help I would liek to say that I got it working and I fihured out on my own how to work teamspeak which seems pretty useless unless your in a clan...

muting the mic still allows people to hear the mic. it just prevents the mic sound from be played on the speakers.

I've tried everything, and I still cant use my mic in BF2.

Actually............NO. I've tried cheap desktop mics, USB headsets, you name it. When I press B ingame, NOTHING happens, I've even remapped it to another key and still nothing. My hardware works fine outside of BF2.

Yeah, I enabled mic boost, and I can hear myself during the test, but not during the game!! And no one can hear me either during the game!

Very very strange, whenever i hear myself in test other people hear me.

Are you sure they arent just ignoring you? :)

when I try to test my mic in bf2 nothing happens, just a small amount of red on the slide indicator.
