    Gaps In The Rules

Today I played on a server called Killer.inc Schlachtfeld.

It is 20 players max and has everything set to the Ranked Server settings, yet the rounds are like 2hrs long and there's LOADS of tickets. I was wondering if this is called a "high score" server and whether they are against the rules. The reason I call this a gap in the rules is because there doesn't seem to be any rules for the actual player only the server guys.

PS. Who is this SaladFork guy because he was on one of those BETA 1.3 coop servers yesterday

Well, EA has not yet banned "high point servers." As long as the min players is over 16 they can have any size map they want.

As long as there isn't a vehicle/weapon restriction, EA isn't bothered.

Ok, that was my first thing sorted but does anyone else think we should have player rules? I mean, I joined a ranked pistol/knife server two days in a row totally ignorantly.

It doesnt matter. the only things it changes is how much point you can get in a round, and how often does the winner gets decided. neither of these matter on the stats. you would get the same stats from 3 20-minutes-long rounds then one of 1 hour.

A set of rules for us players to obey. I mean, the server rules state no ranked pistol/knife servers yet there are. So how are us players supposed to not go on them, we haven't been told not to.

Ah yes, You are corrent in your assesment that you are never told that you can't, yet it is against a set of seemingly arbitrary rules, that you are never directed to either before or after you agree to you EULA. Yet at a moments notice your stats can be wiped for breaking said seemingly arbitrary rules that you were never directed to either before or after agreeing to you EULA.

Quite frankly, they need to be included in new copies of the game, or a pop up redirect linking to them instead of EA spamming their future releases. I mean really, to someone that is new to the game, hell a pistol/knife server might sound like fun to go have a few rounds in, yet now that are breaking EAs virtual laws and must be punished.
