Bad textures plz help!

hey,
i wouldent mind playing bf2 on a decent level of textures but everytime i try increasing the lighting or putting textures to high, all my textures just go crazy after a few seconds., for a screenshot, take a look at the picture i attached to this post. "Stuffed.jpg"

if someone knows whats causing this and how to fix it, plz let me know! cheers!

The drivers may be the problem, have you tried updating them?

I remember some people having trouble like this on ATi cards in the 1.2 patch.

hmm, i have the latest catalyst driver atm, so i dunno?
the game runs very well speed wise, if ya know what i mean, its just all screwed up with the textures

Not sure what it could be, ACE4U has the same card I think and I don't think he had any probs.

Try changing drivers, that is most likely your problem.

I receommend Omega Drivers http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Of course that might not solve a thing, I'm not a professional, but I think this could help.

that card isnt meant for high setting and it could also be over heating or a driver problem

i had a bitta trouble trouble with the omega drivers, it screwed up my resolution, put it back to 640x480 or whatever and 4bit colour, it wouldent let me change it back so i just uninstalled them again and re-installed the 6.4 catalyst.

i did a bitta experimenting with differnt video settings and it only seems to start goin bung if i put the lighting to high with low textures or lighting, textures and geoemtry to medium, or textures to high with everythin else low. etc.

p.s artifacting???what do u mean?

articfacting is when you clock the memory too high, OR the card overheats and it makes weird things appear on the screen, they are like left over bits of video information IE, artifacts.
