I said the same thing and people got mad at me, lol.

The G36C at some point was the weapon of choice for accuracy..now you get a G36C with more power and you get self heals and an ability to accumulate massive scores...this has lead to common knowledge that Medic is infantry/medic god mode score whore madness.

Theres a trade off for the good and the bad of every class..Medic there is none to not use it for infantry. The lack of armor is a worhtless plea..other classes have no armor and are far more worse in other areas then a medic as infantry.

So when do you rarely get the chance to self heal after someone's engaged you with a PKM,G3,GL or an AT rocket?

What's all the fuss about giving the G36E full auto? It will only mean that it loses accuracy beyond 25m or so.
I personaly use the G36E whenever I can apart from maps where there is a lot of room to room fighting then I use the SA80 where there is a need to put down more rounds. Otherwise as with all the weapons if the target is beyond 50m or so I always switch to repetition to put down more accurate single shots.

If I have the option of the AK-47, I'll use it instead. Otherwise, maybe l85a1 (it's much improved, hell... even I'm impressed with it's performance these days). G36E not so much.. yea it's got good stopping power, but only having burst is a kick in the pants, man. If the medic unlock had been the g36k then I woulda been sold. full auto, and burst mode, with a 4 shot per kill stat. It's just as good, if not BETTER than the G36E. Play more SAS if you don't believe me.

if g36e had 600 rpm full-auto, it'd probably be worse than current 900rpm burst fire :P

it's a great gun, but I think AK-101 is better (47 as well, but I like 101 more, not really an issue since there's no 47 vs 101 maps :P).. Also in certain maps / player amounts (especially Sharqi) I think M16 is probably better (at least definetly equal) than G36E. The less players (and distances) there's in maps, more you can maneuver around your guns weaknesses and better the stock guns get - they have rather big advantage vs G36E with just 2.0 max deviation compared to 2.5 in G36E. Go up to 64 players and G36E gets a bit better, since you have to engage in bit longer ranges as well due to sheer number of people shooting at you from everywhere. Still - sharqi/mashtuur/karkand (no matter how many players) I'd pick AK-101 every time.

But it's one of the better guns definetly, and might suit some people / maps / playstyles better than stock guns. L85 however, just plain blows.

I don't think it's candidate for nerfing, because infantry combat doesn't really revolve around it by either playing it, or playing against it. Besides, most of people play better with it than with M16, and that helps to balance the odds vs. AKs, and I think that brings a bit more overall balance to game.

I think the whole G36 family of guns rocks in the game! So far I've only noted 3 but how many are there? (G36C Spec-Ops, G36E Medic, G36K SAS Spec-Ops)

The G3 is related to them somehow, i think the in-game description says it's liek its "big brother"
