Jerking

First my specs - 2.8 p4
- 1 gig ram
- 6800 GT

Surely enough to play BF2 on medium-ish settings? Well no. If I go above lowest settings on anything my game jerks really bad like my computer is struggling. This is the same for Battlefield Vietnam - I should be able to have it all on top settings yet I have to play it on the lowest settings to make the game playable.

Anyone got any ideas as to what the problem could be? Cheers

thats medium graphics, if you atleast want 40fps

I have a 6800GT and it plays BF2 all high at 12xx x 9xx. What is your CPU?

I have similar problem but ma specs r lowa except for ma processor is 3.2 ghz P4 HT. Jerks on bf2 and vietnam even on single player.

i bet your fps are way lower than you think
turn off your AA and shadows
THEN you will have high fps
