hey guys do you know how to use the battlerecoder in singleplayer???? and where can i get it??

recorder is standart in BF2 but you can get a programm to use it easially: www.battlelauncher.com
to record a singleplayer game press the `/~ button to open the cosole command and type: demo.recorddemo <name>
to stop type: demo.stoprecording -

So this recording work in single players or multiplayer? and does the bookmark demos i found in the 'Community" tab makes the game loads slower?? its seem to be there after every round i played...and i can't download it...always says "server unable to connect" or somethingComment

The demo recording commands above should work in single player.. Never know with BF2 though.Originally posted by md_adli
The things in the community tab are rounds that have been played on battlerecorder enabled servers. Unfortunately, a LOT of servers are not setup right, so you'll get those bookmarks but they lead to bad download locations. They shouldn't slow down the loadtime, but you can just delete them if you want to.Comment

It will work on a pub if Battlerecorder is enabled. Problem is that it chews up a bit of resources.Comment

ok so i tryed doing this on a battlerecorder server (or whatever) but i still wasnt able to use the command "demo.recorddemo whatever" with out the " " and the whatever being the name of the file... can you only use demo.recorddemo on any ranked public server?? help pleaseOriginally posted by [DEI]Bart
