Ok, like the title sayes, I had some questions and was saving them to add to someone elses stat padding thread but they all seem to get locked or turn into a flame war. (no complaints intended just observations)
So here goes, I caught the stat padders in action, not the kind that "must be padding or cheating because they killed me." Im talkin about the ones that are the lowest type, the knife and revive or maybe the engineer with the vehicle in the special position (didnt wanna describe the cheat) doing the constant repair thing all round long. You know the obvious cheaters, who act as if no one cares about what they are doing.
After catching them and getting screen shots. I look at the screen shots and they are questionable at best but I have them. So I report them to the admin and quickly get insulted and permanantly banned (no biggie there, was expected). Following this the padders are promptly reported and one of them even is dumb enough to reply to the report, but in doing so confesses.
Now the questions, After being reported at BF2rankedservers or the ROE site how can a person tell anyone important reads the report? Also, about how long (estimated of course) till some action is taken? Will I be notified or be able to find out what the action was, even if the powers that be decide no futher action is necessary? I just had a few questions bounceing around in my head and finally decided to post them, hopeing that I might get an intellegent answer.
By the way, the questions are based on actual postings made at BF2rankedservers. Thanks to whoever is brave enough (possibility of being flamed) to give an informed answer to my questions. . . . . . . . Red
