Server Admins and Cheats

Just a little call to the community, especially the server admins/owners around here.

To counter hack you should think of using the following things, besides enabling PB and running a Pure server.

1. Get signed up to the PB Master Banlist, it will make sure all known reported and caught cheaters won't be able to login to your server.

2. Enable random PB Screenshots, you can check them each day and report (BFROE and the PB Master Banlist) cheaters with those screenshots when you catch them.

Think about it, it will help in keeping this game clean or at least your server.

Can't agree more, but that doesn't say they shouldn't use all options.

I don't know what PB screenshots are does PB takes a screenshot of your screen so it can see if your cheating? That's impossible right since the Cheats are client-sided and are only see-able on your screen am I right? :S ?

What i was told was that all ranked servers have random screenshots done buy PB. these are looked at by PB and then if cought using a cheat are banned.
They see what you see when your playing not like ghost mode when someone is dead watching you.

I know that BFRM on BF1942 gave admins the right to choose a player to take a screenshot of and then check out for any exploit or cheat, but i dont think there is an option like that for BF2, if there is let me know . As i know clanforge dont do that option....

Tartan, random screenshots. How many ranked servers and they are all 24/7... Jesus. Thats alot of screenshots to look through for a hacker.

Our AA server does the PB screenshots, not sure about our ranked BF2 server though. Hell, I say anything that will help should be done!

do u mean the psb list? because the pb list is always updated.
