Wow wtf cod2 install

I just uninstalled cod2 to get rid of mods. I tried to install it again and it says:

1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime.

Well, to install it i'd need the computer on

But yeah, i guess it didn't delete all of the files? I went into my computer / programs, deleted it. Restarted the computer, and it worked fine. I don't know why it did that. Wierd.
