well i hate to say it but nothing is full proof. thing is i have been playing this game since it came out and i might have seen someone that i thought was cheating but i couldnt prove it. and very rarely do i come acroos these people. i dont think its that rampant yet

It is common sense people. Hackers will be around until the end of time. PB will NEVER be able to stop us. Yea they can slow us down at times but we get right back up 200% stronger. As long as there is greed in this world we will have hackers. There are a lot of people willing to pay money to have an edge over the competition, including myself. Sometimes we pay the price and get banned, but we work through it and come out on top. We may be a minority but with MSX having 70,000 members I believe we do make an impact...meaning hackers in general, not just MSX. If you think there isn't a hacker on the server you are playing on you are wrong, we are everywhere and we continue to grow everyday. I may get banned for this post but I don't think I said anything out of line and I haven't advertised any sites. Everyone knows who MSX is and where to find them, they are on about every BF2 site you see. It is just one hacker's opinion of the side you don't see/or don't want to see to much of. On a final note if PB eliminated all hackers they would go out of business. There would be no need to have them anymore.

Well if PB did kill all the hackers it would still have to stay around. If they left the hackers would come back. Tech is getting better, but so is the tech hackers. The only thing we can do to prevent these nerds from hacking is to make it as hard as we can. More coding, scripting, etc etc. I know nothing about hacking but I do know that there is no lesser honor then openly admitting your a hacker.

Now was that comment necessary? I said nothing to disgrace your style of playing the game. And I beg to differ, I would say treason against your country is higher on the list than cheating in a game.

Hes right money talks. You can do insane things with money like EA has. You don't even have to spend it. If they wanted to protect their game they could get these guys in trouble.

There is no federal law for "cheating", "hacking", or "padding" so how is EA supposed to "shut them down"? Cheating is a moral issue and has nothing to do with "pull" or anything else except PB helping us out which is a favor not a requirement.

Also this site is not a PB site so they have no obligation to banning someone for a personal preference in how they play the game.

If you dont like it then play in a ranked PB server and ignore posts on the subject. This wont completely avoid the problem but will limit your experience with it.

And as mentioned this is a personal preference in how you play the game. People are different and their priorities are different.

I am no cheater but I choose that myself and I dont "bash" cheaters, I just choose not to play with them but some of them have very good info about real strategies.

I don't think everyone understands how this cheating works. I am only saying this because a previous post makes it sound like there are no cheaters in public ranked servers. These cheats are 100% PB proof. Yea from time to time someone gets banned but just like PB, MSX will do an update and it is PB proof again. Cheating/Hacks are going to be around forever, because there is a demand for it.

The anti-cheat systems are always on the defensive because every time a cheat is changed or created its signature changes and the anti-cheat systems have to be upgraded again. They're fighting a losing battle all the time.
