Ok, I had EA Downloader, but then I got rid of it, then Special Forces got deleted as well. I lost the Username and password so I wasn't able to redownload it. I now bought SF from a store so I could play it.
I installed it, then I went in game and joined a server. Everything loaded, then the account thing. 'Join Game' came up, but before I could do anything, I was kicked out of the server with an error message; You cannot join this server because it doesn't allow modded files for Battlefield 2. Or something like that.
Unless when deleting EA Downloader changes files, I didn't mod anything. I don't hack, either. I did download a mod or two for the original Battlefield 2, but I got rid of them. So I went around in the BF2 folder, looking for "bad" files. I did nothing but delete some mod folders. Now I try to join a server and the game crashes or something.
Right now, I am reinstalling BF2:SF and see if that works. If it doesn't I will tell you, either way I will tell you if it works.
Is there a way I can keep my original BF2 profile? I don't want to spend hours just to get the same rank and rewards.
I can't reinstall the Original Bf2 because I lost Disc 2. I can't afford $50 for a new game right now.
