Double Promotions ??!!

Got a bit of a query, come discussion i hope.:blabla: :yay:
Sorry if i've dragged up anything old or annoying but this forum is pretty new to me..:wall: :wall: :wall:

Any way i'm coming up to my next promotion,:salute:
Which is 20,000pts.:banana: :banana:
So many points, :wall: :wall: "too many dont you think lads??":hmm: :hmm:

So, I'm Gunnery Sergeant at the moment,
And from what i can work out.
I'm going to get two Promotions at my next one,
As i allready have my basic badges.:rock:


Now can somone tell me if i get 2 unlocks or 1.
As i'm expecting 2 but thinking maybe i'll only get one if i get both ranks at the same time.

I wish i waited for this promotion and then went for my Basic Badges
So that the Promotions were seperate as they are so far apart i relish them as do you i hope :nod: :nod:
now i wont get to spend any time as a Master Sergeant..:hmm: Never mind i'll get over that if there is 2 unlocks ?????:locked: :locked: :ar15: :shoot: :guns:

Just 1 unlock, unless you have special forces, in which case you would get 2 unlocks

I picked it up once and I think its probably "The best gun in the game" ??????

Have you got Spacial ops thuogh m8 then you get two apparently ???!!!

I think if you are below the rank of First Sergeant,:hmm:
And have not got all your Basic Badges,:hmm:
Then I think you should wait untill you are a Master Sergeant Before you complete your basic badges, To see what happens? And to enjoy your promotions as they are very rare from here on out !!!:shock: :shock:

are you like playing a joke on them or somethin? i cant tell, so Im just gonna explain how this works

Master Sergeant
you get this rank when you reach 20,000 points, it is the default rank.

First Sergeant
you get this rank when you reach 20,000 and if you have all the basic badges before you rank up.

Notice, in First Sergeant, I said BEFORE, this means that if you are Master Sergeant, YOU WILL NEVER BE FIRST SERGEANT...you are one, or the other.

Again, make sure you have all the badges required for First Sergeant Before you rank up at 20,000. or you will never be First Sergeant in your BF2 gaming experience (unless you make a new account). So, no you will not get two unlocks, unless you have Special Forces Expansion Pack, then you will. but if you are running only Vanilla BF2, you will only get one unlock.

Same scenario for the 50,000 Rank

I purposly didn't get my basics. So I get a gun unlock then ill grab the last one straight after and get another. Thinking ill get 2 unlocks. Well I just got one and yeah.

if you get promoted to Master Sarge before you get you basic badges it's too late, you can never be First Sarge, same with Master Gunnery Sarge and Sergeant Major, you only get one unlock between the two of them, and that's it, unless you got SF.
