It's kinda getting that way.

Either you were watching closely and should've seen how he got up there, or you weren't watching and he got up there by way of the methods we mentioned.

Or he used a new tower-climbing hack, but I'm not sure how that's any more reasonable an explanation.

I'm pretty sure you get in the tower, call for supply drop, jump up onto the falling crate and immediately jump off of it onto the roof. its a well known trick on Wake. My clan has been doing it for months.

To be honest I don't really see the tactical advantage of it, you are very easily seen for great distances around.
