Question on Ban time

So I was banned from a server for excessive TKing on Karkand. I had hopped in an APC coz uSMC took the square. Admin said to let MEC have the square back. I drove to the square and tried to drive on the side closest to the wall so I wouldn't hit my guys, but somehow 3 on my teammates got in my way and since I was hauling A, I couldn't stop/turn in time. 3consecutive TK's BAM. I say sorry 3-4 times and then get kicked. I had gotten my Bknife(against people with pistols none the less) so I'm quite livid. 5mins later I go to get back on the same server and I can't get on coz of the ban

I really like the server and want to play on it again, but what is the length of a ban, Forever, a few days? Is it set by the admin?

Oh, and since I was kicked off, I lost my BKnife... which might not take as long, but will still take another 2hrs I'm guessing

I think the ban might be lifted when the server is rebooted, but I know for sure bans are lifted when the server is patched with a new version. :laugh:

I think this question might be more accureately handled by posting in the clan website that banned you in the first place. There really is no way anyone of us here could know this.

yes a server reboot can remove a ban unless they back up the data

Bans can range from a few days to forever.
You will have to ask the people who admin the server about how long yor ban is.

I think this question might be more accureately handled by posting in the clan website that banned you in the first place. There really is no way anyone of us here could know this.

Well, I don't feel like having to register to some website just for 1 question

Most auto punkbuster bans for tking is just for that map. But are usually 24hours

I think TK bans are 15 mins. I got banned from the TBF2 server and I went back in an hour and everything is fine.

Which is another reason why I hate tanks/APCs. Any decent AT guy can kill you, plus you get about 3-4 TKs per round.

If you got a badge in the game and you leave, you should still ahve it...

I am glad you got help here, the answer really was common sense now wasn't it? You could have figured that out quite easily. Anyway, you really should contact the admin of the server for details...Don't be lazy.

Go to the forum of the server ppl. TV2 servers have a nice 'complaining wall' in which you can explain yourself and get unbanned. done it twice myself .

I thought that Admins were not allowed to enforce rules such as
"pistols only"
and
"Dont take the hotel"
then they kick and ban you for reasons like this !!!!
which sounds like what happened to "ARMistice023"
so if you report them for this will they lose there ranking ????
this can happen by accident as well so many times i've been kicked for not meaning to do somthing !! like taking a flag when you dont realise your so close to it because your in a knife fight !!??

It was a Pistol/knife only server and the MEC would uncap rape the front USMC base, so admin said to let us have the hotel and that was it, and MEC couldn't take it
