    Scope Images

How can I use the scopes and the zoom in images for when your shooting. I need them to open in photoshop. I found a file called scope or something but its like .odd or something and cant open it. Where can I get the zoom images and open them. Or what program do I need.

    Re: Scope Images

are you talking about an imagefile with the scope on it?

    well anyway, you probly are

.odd is a sound file by they way, so what you found is probly the sound it makes when you scope in....

so if you do find the correct file, youll probly have to get a photoshop plugin for it...

what? maybe it was .off or something im not sure. Anyway, I just wanted to get the zoom images and the aiming gun sights like when you right click to shoot more accurately. But I cant find a way to get them.

Now that I think about it, probably only the zoom scope will have image, the assault rifle and stuff aiming is probably models in a diff view. Anyway, I just need to get them. I try ingaming and screenshotting but its impossible to do it right because you cant edit out the sky or anything easily.

            Re: Scope Images

why not just scope out a background with a single solid color....it would be especially easy to remove with photoshop, go to select, then to color-range, and click on the color of the crosshaiir...you can hold shift, and keep clicking whatever hasnt been selected and it will add it to the selection...then you can copy, and paste it into a new file, or delete the background...should give you a transparent background

dont be afraid to do a little work to achieve whatever it is you want

make your hud transparent, so it doesnt appear in the screenshot

hes trying to edit the scope so it looks differently ingame, like u can change the lines of ur scope to make it easy to aim, and u can probably( maybe im talking crazy) turn the scope lens in green workign with the alpha channel to improve vision in darkness.:p

he never said that's what he wanted to do. When he says "Anyway, I just wanted to get the zoom images and the aiming gun sights like when you right click to shoot more accurately," I think he's only asking for the images of the guns when you click zoom. He could be using this for some graphic or web page he's doing. But I WOULD like to know what he is really going to do with them.

What I am using them for is a map in Warcraft 3 I am making that has shooting and first person view. It is going pretty good sofar.

Ya, I did find a white area to take screenshots but unfortunately theres no exact white spot, whitest spot I could find was a big 2 on aircraft carrier. As anywhere else that was white gave a shadow and took out the detail of the gun. I had to redraw some of it though because of the feathering they did and the stupid white not deleting. For the most part they look ok except, I cant make my own fire for when you shoot, the muzzle fire or whatever its called. I cant find if theres any image and I tried making my own and its not very good.
