Bf2tracker.com - quick question

Ok, this question might seem retarted, but i just had to check cause I wasnt sure. On bf2 tracker, you can see your rankings for maps, vehicles, kits...etc. Well, theres a little arrow next to it and it's either red going down or green going up.

I am confused to which one means you got better or worse. The down arror I would assume means you reached a lower ranked (ranked 10th is better than ranked 100th) but, the arrow is red, indicating something that maybe you did worse [red = mean color, lol]. The green arrow points up and it either means your a higher rank so your not as good or [green = good] you got better and your a lower rank...

This is just confusing and im not sure if I explained this well.

There's a thought...

You know what a number line is right? if you go to the left you dewcrease, if you go to the right you increase. For the most part, red means stop or bad, green means go or everything is ok? Please put the bong down before you hurt yourself...

green means you moved up, red means you moved down...if you put your mouse over the right part of the arrow it will tell you how many ranks you've moved in that direction

Agreed and also a yellow circle means you stayed at the same ranking position. Remember the ranking is only updated at the main server updates, twice a day as best i can tell.

Now what i don't understand is why "operation clean sweep" isnt in the map ranking
