If your commander you get x2 if your not on the winning team commander then no.

yes and binding "fire" to your scroll wheel might help too.

here is how you do it. Open your controls.con file. Mydocuments/Battlefield 2/Profiles/0000*/controls.con (where * = any number)

Find the line near the top where your mouse main fire is and paste this underneath it. (PIFire is the key term.)

ControlMap.addAxisToTriggerMapping -1 c_PIFire IDFMouse IDAxis_2 1

Now fire = scroll down, as well as left mouse.

This turns your pistol into an automatic rifle and in turn lets your atuomatic rifles lay down more fire in single fire mode.

Again this is comming from a master seargent. I don't aim at girl scout badges, only girl scouts.

If i win a round playing whatever team do i get double points ?

The reason i ask is it says 2* at the bottom when the round is complete ?

This applies only to the Commander of the winning team. Also, 2x does not mean 2 times the amount. It means you add your Commander points with your scoreboard points for a higher total.

Nice tip , but then again , find a pistol&knife server , u get crazy pts there , and easily get both pistol and knife veteran badges

Yeah you also can get your stats reset for playing in pistol and knife ony servers, as its considered "stat padding" So not great advice

Doesn't matter, someone will call Pistols a 'n00b weapon', therefore you have to duel with a plank with a rusty nail. :)

Commanding isn't that bad, I'm a noob commander, and I've done fairly well on it, though for obvious reasons, Karkand is one of the most hectic commander maps, depending on the teams, and Wake is fairly quiet until the USMC gain a foothold, then it can be very dangerous. :)
