Bf2 flashes to desktop

Hi,

Bf2 goes onto the black screen then flashes to desktop, yeah i know nothing new but all i have changed is my monitor which has different resolutions.

Can someone tell me which and how to edit the one of those config files so i can adjust the resolution etc out of game.

go to

MyDocuments/Battlefield2/Profiles/*0002*/Video

*my profile name is 0002, yours might be 0001 or 0003 or somethin. to find out which one is your profile, open one of them (try 0001) and open up the "Profile" file with notepad, it will say what profile it is and the email and all that stuff.

open the video document with wordpad, or notepad, and change the resolution ( make sure you put it to the right thing, like dont type in numbers that your monitor doesnt recognize or you might screw it up even worse)
