OK I need to vent my frustration here. I have started to HATE Strike at Karkland because all people do is chuck grenades. It's so frustrating. I spawn and I get blown up by a grenade. Pretty annoying.

I rarely get hit by grenades during the first couple minutes of Karkand.
It isn't hard to avoid them sometimes.

One thing it's Karkand, people here seem to jump on you if you spell it wrong.

i don't play karkand simply because i don't think it's a great map

shongua stalemate and operation clean sweep are some good maps

I like sharqi for some close quarters combat.

However, once the mods come out, you won't have to worry about stat whores.

Wouldn't bother me one bit to see karkand get dropped off server rotations.

There are a lot of maps more fun to play than Karkand.

Once the round starts, you hear nothing but grenades going off.

I've been playing Gulf of Oman exclusively for the past 5 months now. I didn't even notice that there are more maps to BF2 then Gulf of Oman. ROFL.

Because server runs it 7 rounds straight. That means I don't have to deal with the pesky "verifying client". Not to mention the punish system is off. Lastly, Gulf of Oman is just an all around great map! It has a little bit of something for everybody.

What other maps does BF2 feature again? :laugh:

thats what i love about karkand, the grenade war is fun, it's something different and if you get involved, it's heaps of fun

i got 4 guys crowded in a corner just down from the right spawn point in one shot, loved it and even got praised by my team, w00 :P

Nades are mini artillery now, you can launch 4 in quick succession great distances now after 1.2/With a suppoet at your side you need not even move from most positions.

Grenades are the new assult rifle and best solution foc CQC. /sarcasm
