sitting duck ..

after istalling bf2 patch ...i had binding problems,I reinstalled & got that fixed now I cant take cover(crouch) when riding gunner in vehicals? any suggestions?

check the control options in the menu

there should be a command there for crouch

i can crouch just fine ..only in vehicals it will not let me ?

You should not have any problems with it, it uses the same control_id.
Ifyou can crouch as an infantry soldier then you should also be able to use the same key do duck when in a mounted MG os a vehicle.

Hmmm.

I use "C" for infantry crouch

But in the top of a tank, I have to use my left control key to duck.

OK.. found the info in my controls.con file:

ControlMap.create InfantryPlayerInputControlMap
ControlMap.addKeyToTriggerMapping c_PICrouch IDFKeyboard IDKey_C 0 0

ControlMap.create LandPlayerInputControlMap
ControlMap.addKeyToTriggerMapping c_PICrouch IDFKeyboard IDKey_LeftCtrl 0 0

The "Infrantry" relates to in game common controls which you can change the assignment for the crouch.

The "Land" relates to in game land controls of which you cannot change the assignment for duck.

You can change the duck by editting the controls.ini file.
