    Score Upload to EA question...

Here's something Ive been wondering... do you have to stay until the end of the round to get the points you earn uploaded to the BF2 stats at EA and thus count toward your ranks?

What if your PC crashes? Do your stats get uploaded when you quit the game regardless of whether the round is over or not?

    Hmm....

frankly i believe that u dont have to stay the entire round becuase ur score is still there even if u leave and rejoin ... so its like saved in the server/round...so why wouldnt it get uploaded...but others say otherwise

the server tracks you so they got uploaded... if it was up to ( client side) it was to easy to hack and manipulate your score...

i agree. If you get promoted ingame and leave there and then, you are still promoted in BFHQ.

        Edit:
Sorry, someone else replied while I was replying!!

you can join for 5 seconds - get a kill - and have your power die

and your kill would be reported.

If you earn a rank in the middle of a round or a badge you have to stay until the end of the round or else it does not get reported. Kills and team points are recorded almost instantly.
