Master Sergeant / First Sergeant ???????

I made Master and have since earned all my badges...however I have not been promoted to First...is this something that isn't going to happen? I mean, am I just going to skip First since I had already made Master without my badges?

Yeah, I'm afraid that's the way the system is set up. Once you obtain Master, you can't get First. Same thing happened to me when they suddenly lowered the requirements for each rank (a few patches back).

Who cares? Its only a picture! Missing first sergeant and getting master instead causes you to lose ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Get over it! You dont gain anything and nor do you lose anything. The only thing you get is a different picture for your rank.

Check the scores before you boast.

And yes i have used up 3 "mice" already. Actually used up MANY mice. More than you can count on both hands.

I would think there are far more funny names than something simple like mouseno4. Take intensivecarebear or megawhoompatoo for example. I would refuse to play with those people because i would be laughing at their names and getting killed.

I like my rank its funny when those high ranks think I suck and come at me with noob sit and I end up ****ing them up.

Yeah well I got all my badges BEFORE I ranked up, and I didn't get First Sergeant, and on BF2s it even said my next rank was First Sergeant. It never happend though. Was lame because I spent about a day getting that knife badge. I was still 18000 points then and that was the last badge I needed.

I missed out too, i just always assumed that I had the badges i needed (was missing basic knife ) and that I could get them afterwards

Ah well, I'm only 630 points away from becoming sergeant major One afternoon of flying/medic whoring and the prize will be mine!

Thanks to all who replied....makes sense now. And to the guy with the attitude.....yeah, I know it's just a "picture"....so is your signature showing off your stats...but you're proud of them, aren't you? So...a picture to one is something to be proud of for another. I guess you could say that stripes on a uniform are just bits of fabric too............

Some of us like to command. With the gab being so large between 20k and 50k it'll take some time to get. Now, during that interlude, son, if you apply to command and a first sergeant does as well, you lose. If you like to command, well, that will happen to you from the time you are at 20k until you hit 50k.

Since this can be avoided with a few measely badges...why not?

And son, stfu.
