Well, I just played a round and I got first place. So I went to check my stats 30 minutes later, and it definitely updated cause my engineer k/d went up, plus my points until next rank dropped from 551 to 472. However, I still had 12 gold stars. How come these things don't update half the time? This is not the only time; I should have at least 20 gold stars by now; yet I only have 12.

If you leave the server before the round ends you only get the points and not the awards.Comment

kinda of a newb question, but the other day my friend shot me an ip to join, so I did without looking at it very much. Got inside, and while inside got some medals/ribbons I didn't have (basic ground d, basic air d, veteran sniper, and the ribbon about being a squad leader for 25mins IAR)...however after I left (I was there for 2 rounds, stayed all the way through) I didn't have the medals. I don't play on unranked servers willingly, but is this what happened? this was about 4-5 days ago and since I've gotten back all but the ribbon...just wondering why the unranked server would tell me I got the medals if they don't even count.Comment

Was it an unranked server? You just said you joined without looking and if the server gave you awards then its not an unranked server is it.Comment

Yes, I joined without looking, and yes, mid-battle it awarded me medals/ribbons, but they did not stick. Since I haven't played on an unranked server before (to my knoweldge) I wasn't sure if unranked servers even prompted you about medals or if they never showed up.Originally posted by Sir. EdenComment

It WAS Ranked, I always leave that filter on.

I have gold stars that I got 4 weeks ago that didn't show up.
The silver and bronze stars both update fine, but the gold ones JUST DON"T UPDATE!!! I got 3 of them today and its STILL 12.
Are there any more requirements for the gold star? Like you need a certain score, or your team has to win or something?
Anyone want to answer this?
