After last patch, no sound except during beginning video
My friend installed the latest patch when it came out, and since then he has had no sound from the game. When the game loads, he has sound during the video at the beginning, then after that---nada. Sound works with everything else, though. Any thoughts?

what sound card does your friend have if it is crap then change it but if its good one then just find out the manufacturer (most probably made by creative) and download the latst drivers/software for it that should work if not phone EA and have a go at them. -

I went through his audio settings in the options, and found he had nothing set for the audio renderer! I had him put in hardware and it works fine.
