My Map Wont Load Ingame :( Help Anyone?

im milarkey

i resently made a map but when i load it ingame it crashes to desktop at 15% how can i fix this?

could be several things, are you trying to load it as single player, or are using the create local method, or did you download the 1.22 server files and start your own server?

Are your video settings set at medium or better?

You don't need them. To find out whats wrong do this:

1. Right click > Properties on the BF2 shortcut.

2. Edit this bit at the end of the long line of text. "+fullscreen 1" and replace that with "+fullscreen 0".

3. Then start up you level (BF2 will open in windowed mode) and when it crashes it will give you a message. Tell us what it says by "Text: ...".

I have the same problem, and did what you said, but no error window came up after the server crashed..

An odd thing I noticed was the general boxes of the loading screen being gray instead of black, although the text is still there ("This is a conquest map") and so on.

I have no Minimap, but the Level Editor Tutorial frmo LBRown didn't mention it to be needed (I followed his tutorial).

I don't get it :S...
