I laugh at this response.

FYI...the .50 Barret Anti-Material Rifle will shoot through the through viewing hole......at 38 yards the Barret can penetrate approx. an inch of armor plate. At 1,640 yards it can penetrate 1in of solid concrete.

A skilled and well positioned sniper can keep several full squads bogged down for hours. Its honestly one of the scariest situations you can find yourself in.

This is all in RL obviously.

1. The M95 is not a standard battlefield weapon
2. It will not maintain its accuracy passing through 10 inches of reinforced glass meaning it will be deflected and it's subsequent penetration power is neglible even if my chance it actually passes the whole way through
3. You would have to be directly facing the tank :laugh:..... at 38 yards :laugh: "hold still Mr. Tankerman"
4. The M95 can be scarily inaccurate over anything longer than 100m, can only be fired prone and weighs 9.98 kg empty, without scope

I love it when people buy into the marketing hype - just like with the Javelin missile system

and I suppose no other soldier can do that despite the fact that they may be armed with M203s, M240s, Scoped M16, M8 or M4s :laugh:

it is impossible ingame and not even really possible in real life seeing as most tanks use periscopes and viewing glass too thick for a bullet to penetrate and if it all, accurately
When will people realise that snipers are not very useful or dangerous on any battlefield - I blame counterstrike with its godlike AWP

The ignorance is astounding, most professional soldiers would cry in bemused dismay at the mythos of the sniper, perceived battlefield god

Hey if that worked you could shoot at the tail pipe of a humvee and make it take out the driver and engine at the same time!

And no, I'm afraid you cannot blind, let alone damage a tank with anything less than a RPG. That doesn't mean that snipers are useless, if you can use the kit efficiently
