Not really. The best thing to do would have been take cover behind the bin crouched and wait for them to cap it then when its all clear run up and take it. Going into a bunch of enemies is stupid. You will just die and get nowhere

I PLAYED WITH THAT GUY THE OTHER DAY! I was MEC, spawned at hotel, and went into that fenced in area, and I was crouching, (and not touching or near any walls, because I know your body and like stick out), and I see half of a body, and an M16 coming through the wall, and this guy shoots me 2 times (hits both, THROUGH the wall [the through the wall part I understand... how he hit me is another story] and I died, and it was THAT guy...although I don't have a vid/SS) and I died...

Weird....... or is it...

I seriously, think that is the FIRST time EVER, I have suspected a wallhack in this game..

and it was that same guy, and that it happened to you (I saw him hit 2-3 shots before he popped up)... i'm pretty sure about my hunch...

what server was that btw?

It's not a wall hack. Because DICE's code sucks the animation that you see doesn't correlate with the actions the player is actually performing on his screen. Meaning, that the guy is just moving up and down real fast and you can't see him do it and that is why it looks like he's shooting through the wall.

That video dosnt show anything, i played the video on super slow motion, he took 5 bars with one shot through the wall, then he finished me up after he stood up. Have you not seen all the videos of hacks out there?

That video shows exactly what Killer$ham$hu was doing to you.

So let me try and explain it again. You don't see him stand up because the game doesn't draw the animation of the player fast enough for you to see him stand up and go back to prone. It's called Prone Spamming.

Also, I don't know about shooting through the wall but collision detection is rather messed up in this game so who knows. But I really doubt that he would risk being banned from competition by cheating in some pub.

I'm not even sure that you can shoot *through* that wall anyway. If I'm correct, bullets don't originate from tip of your gun, rather from middle of model.. so if you're proning behind a block of concrete, even if your gun sticks out, the bullets would have to go through the entire block, and no gun in the game does it - wall penetration in this game is incredibly low.

Rather than fighting here in forums, go check it in a server. One prones at the terrace thing at Hotel, and tries to fire at the other guy below the arch. If you can't deal damage with an AK regardless of how close to that low wall you prone, it should prove that there's no way the shots came through the wall, rather from above, which is how Pencil explained it.

Ok, I want to see that as well. Because for some very odd reason your healthbar isn't in the movie (odd or removed?). Also you don't get the red flares around you are the point he "is shooting through the wall". Show us the full movie without the cut out bit. I would believe you if it showed that, otherwise I think you are talking crap and cutted the healthbar out to show you are right.

Sorry, but don't try to prove something while showing half of it.

Cut it so quaility could stay
