They optimized it so lower-end computers are able to play it. They didn't get cheap, that was just a rendering video like all companies do at first.

You do know that you are looking at the console version and not the PC version right? I hardly see the connection in the original statement with "beta", unless you work for Dice/EA you never had the chance to see the console beta.
