I have also read that the second number is time between frames in ms on a few websites which makes absolutely no sense mathematically.

If he is getting 65 frames per 1 second, that means 65 frames per 1000 ms so how do you figure there are 14 ms between each frame?
      hehe
      so. mr math major
as the fps increases - the avg decreases?
ahh - the sad state of our school system
sorry - just zinging you back :P

There is absolutly no way BF2 only uses 14% CPU.

to unlock the game above 100fps

          type this in the console

          game.lockfps 999

it might be a little lazyness on my part in above posts, to say 2nd # is MS between frames
it is actually a factor in the following
            1st# x 2nd # = 1000
eg 60 fps would have 2nd number be 16.6
            70 fps would have 2nd # as 14.3
            30 fps = 33.3

Current FPS, as in what it reads with him standing still looking at his numbers. Standing still means it's stabilized and fairly high. Who knows what is on his screen atm, could be in a building.

Avg FPS, as in taking into account when he ran out into the open with a bunch of players/vehicles/smoke on screen and his FPS took a dive.

              Are you following me?

btw I'm still not 100% sure that number is indeed avg FPS but A) that's what 90% of the websites out there claim it is including this one and B) "time in milliseconds between frames" does not make sense mathematically.

using that pic as an example :
                133.3FPS | 7.5<--what is it? lol
                133.3*7.5 = 999.75 close enough to 1000 for you?

                  although I have heard this
                  I made no edits anywhere
                  and often get 100-105 fps
                  as do other clan members
                  I avg 70-90 in game
but fly high = always over 100 when looking up into clouds

So if you do the same thing with the OP's numbers...

                    65.3*14 = 914.2

Re: Can you expalin my FPS please .

The first number is FPS and the second number, as someone correctly stated earlier, is ms between frames. And yes, it is redundant and I have no idea why they put the second number there.

1/65.3fps = .0153 = 15.3 ms (original poster's observation, just slightly off on perceived average)

                      1/133.3fps = .00750 = 7.5 ms (from the picture, exactly correct)

It is not average frames fps and anyone who ever used the command would know that. It is not CPU usage because it goes down as fps goes up, which makes absolutely zero sense.

                        320.1/3.1

there is no way that the 2nd number is the average FPS..

I never see lower then 40-50 in game

n/m I see I was corrected above, thanks for the explanation..

That certainly makes sense, I was assuming that the OP was reporting his numbers correctly which is why it never added up.
