    PLEASE HELP!!! Screen Turns Blank 3 Times...

    Please help me! When I'm playing BF2, the game freezes and then the screen turns blank and then resumes gameplay. It does this three times and on the third time the screen just stays blank and I have to ctrl alt del to get out. When I get out, the desktop resolution is the same as it is ingame and not what I set it to before. Also my overclocked video card goes back to its stock settings. I know that its not overheating because it's usually around 50C underload. Any advice?
    AMD Athlon XP 2100+
    ATI Radeon 9600Xt 128Mb
    Using Omega 3.8.231 Drivers and ATI Tray Tools

          Hey. Your setup should play BF2 just fine on low, maybe one or two medium settings.

          1) Try going back to stock settings (non-oc) on the 9600xt (i used to play bf2 on a HIS 9600xt 256mb version)
          2) Try uninstalling the Omegas and going with regular ATI drivers
          3) have you put new firewall software on lately? that can interfere with bf2's ability to talk to the mothership, and it can look like your pc is "frozen"

              hmmm...all medium excempt texture and geometry and dynamic light on low and dynamic shadows off

                      i actually have this same problem except i have a 6200. i used to run on medium on a 5950 ultra, but that literally blew up...
