I'm really in the marked for a new joystick nowadays and I was wondering, can I use the 'stick for choppers and planes, while using the mouse for infantry soldiers? And if i can't, I need some guides to infantry fighting with a joystick. Help in this matter is greatly apriciated. idle chatting too :)

Yeah you can use the joystick for choppers and planes, whilst still been able to use your mouse for infantry as the controls are seperate look in the options on bf2 for controls there is different choices for helicopter planes etc -
