A question about Commander's VoIP

If I press "V" to VoIP to all squads, will all the lone wolves also hear what I say?

I hope it would be there in a major patch. As commander, I feel the obligation to warn my men at dangerous situation. Since I see both squad units and lone wolves and I want them to know a sniper was on to them. If I can't VoIP them, they will be wasted by strayed bullets.

No it doesn't.
Another thing, you cant talk to an individual squad, all squads will here it.

No, the lonewolves get left out.
When I am commander I always encourage people to join and form squads, those that don't get left out.

Yeah, you can only talk to squad leaders and they have to talk to there sqaud. Except the bad thing is, if Im trying to tell squad 1 to stop being a complete tool and there is an admin is say squad 2. He hears aswell and can kick me lol

BF2's implementation of "chain-of-command" style does indeed have some flaws over VOIP :P

When I am commander, VoIP doesn't even work. Only when Commander. Very weird.

You could type out the message via "k", but the sniper would have blown the loners head off and drop a clay on his corpse b4 you finish typing...

I wish that we could hear what the other SL's are saying to the Commanders, b/c sometimes the commander will be talking to a squad and it sounds like they are just talking to themselves. I realize it could get confusing to hear Squadmates AND other Squad leaders, but I think it would be cool to know what's going on with chain of command.

Actually B talks to the selected squad, and V talks to all squads.

hmmm
are there not little speaker icons in the commander mode>?
maybe they only turn off listening to certain squads
will have to test if it turns off talking to them as well
