Hey does any one know how to change the spawn time in single player.

15 seconds is to long.

The bot maps have standard ranked server settings. It's easy to do on your own local server.

Is it possible to modify these files ? If so which file do I modify. Also how do I get bots on a local server ?

Ive found that if you load a dedicated server you can modify a whole bunch of crap that happens in singleplayer. For instance, i got the ticket count to reach 999 for both sides just because i felt like it.

Try it, if it doesnt work then you may need to modify files.

Single Player Spawn Times

I can start the server fine adjust the settings ect but you cant have bots in the defult dedicated server. I want to be able to play with bots with no respawn time, 15 seconds is too long.

Any Body ......??

well this is really weird, i cant access my harddrive, it shows its installed, and i can see it in disk management and device manager, but it wont show in my computer and i can run D:

In game do the following:

1. Hit ~ which opens the console. This key is right above the Tab key.
2. Type sv.spawntime 3 (this will give you 3 seconds. Change to any number)
3. Type sv.manDowntime 3 (same as above)
4. Hit ~ which closes the console

Quite simple.

Go to your console window by pressing "~" on your keyboard.

Now type each of these and hit enter.

sv.spawntime 0
sv.mandowntime 0

There you go! Instant spawning!

I honestly think you are pretty sad if you only play singleplayer

I honestly think this statement was uncalled for. People play SP for a variety of reasons. I'm using it right now to learn how to gun in a chopper. I regularly have 15 or 20 minutes to kill, and it's really not worthwhile to get online for that short of a time. SP works quite well for that.

not only was it uncalled for...he never said he only played single player...just that he wanted to play a modified version of sp....and if you have really really crappy internet, the game is still fun when you play sp for some people.
