Voted WSAD although I actually use WXAD. Switched from the arrows at the same time I started using the mouse (in Quake 1).

Left Handed - I use the equivilant of wasd, just w/right hand on the other side of the board

Why only 2 options??? :laugh: There must be more odd balls out there like me. I'm using: Q,W,E,SPACE to move. Mouse wheel button is for jump and TAB for use. Beat that :p.

i use WSAD because the other controls are all mapped out to be near them and its the standered for most games.

That is easy. The letters are on the left side and your mouse in on the right side. The spacing is much better, plus I have typing skills and it makes it that much easier.

Wasd converted from arrows during the days of RTCW. RTCW forever!

Yeah, I guess :laugh:. It's been like that since my first FPS game. After I realized that WSAD is the "proper" way I tried switching but for the love of god I can't even run straight using that combo :p.

I used arrow keys for Quake games when I was smaller, after that my hand grew so big that It wasn't comfortable...

How? just press the W key down and don't move the mouse. Unless your keyboard is messed up, you would have to have serious problems not to run straight.

Since early CS I have used arrows and too used to it by now. I have all the buttons I need right around the arrows and memorized to change now.

arrows is so retro.... I think the last time I used arrows to move around in a game was doom II :laugh:

i used to use arrows in my q3 days (early q3 days) but i found that wasd is better,most games (fps) deafult settings are wasd so its less messing with configuration and more gaming.

cool thing with bf2 i have never changed any of the buttons there all deafult.
with the exception of the flying ,i did set that up on a joystick but me m8 who was a ace dc pilot broke his due to to mucth apache(spell error maybe)flying on dc.

so i gave him mine,which i want back soon to get my basic heli/plane badges.

wasd is the only way to play,well for me anyway.
