an idea to annoy non-flag cappers

Some people didn't get my post for some reason, so here's a summary:

He's saying that when you have no flags left, all players that are alive will get a message telling them to capture a control point immediately.

For multiple reasons, I think it'd work.

Well not really non-flag cappers.

Sometimes I'll just stake out a choke point with C4 and call it a road-side bomb instead of taking flags

BUT:

Everyone has been sitting there in chase view while your dead and there are no flags to spawn at. So you sit there in chase cam on your team-mates and you watch them do nothing.

So here's my idea:

You know how when the points get low and he says "we're losing positions left and right" or something like that?

When all flags are taken, you get a new sound of some guy saying "all our bases have been over-run, secure a position immediatey".

and he should say it like every five seconds unil they get the hint.

GAMEPLAY TIP: Theres a yellow X in the upper right of the map in the spawn screen - hit that and it won't pop back up. Then hit C and you can scroll through the players still alive. You cannot do this while critically wounded.

its also very annoying when u have lost all ure flags and there are only 2 snipers in ure team left who have no idea that they are the only 2 left

if u dont have any flags left u cant spawn on a squad leader.


i for one think it is a good idea.
i happens almost every time if ure team loose all the flags that there are 1 ore 2 snipers left who have no idea whats going on

Maybe not say it every 5 seconds but definately something like this should be in the game because everytime I'm playing it seems like the last guy has no idea that he's the last guy, and doesn't realize that all the bases have been capped. No one really seems to notice until they try to spawn. I really love it when the last guy is back in the enemy un-cap destroying their commander assets and the whole team is watching him do it. Fun stuff.

It'll be very annoying, I think, especially when the few guys remaining can do nothing about it -- snipers directly under enemy UAV, and the whole other team searching for them with tanks and artillery. Might as well admit they've lost instead of spamming them.

"Hurry, capture a flag."
"Get a flag, or we will beat your dog and cook it for dinner!"

Until they implement that in a patch, you can just make a custom squad called "Need Flag!" and invite them to it..

Good idea in theory... but in reality it's a waste of time.

I don't know how many times I've sat in limbo and watched an entire team shout something to this effect in global chat:

<insert sniper name here> get off your ****ing ass and grab a goddamn flag or suicide you moron

Only to have said sniper sit there for 2 minutes straight spamming:

I'm running dry on ammo


People that generally sit on their ass for the entire duration of the map are a lost cause; it's just something we have to deal with on pubs.
