Well i didnt really make sense of what he was saying, what he means, i think is, the thing that gets you repair points is ONE FULL HEALTH BAR. so half of one tank and half of another, while wrenching away with the engineer kit!
Parachute, is just luck, it only opens once you hit a certain speed, so i'm told, so jump up before you jump off, then hit the '9' button like there is no tommorow!
With the parachute, I find it better to just not press 9 until you almost hit the ground.. works 99% of the time.. unless you are too close to a building for it to open
1 repair point = completely repairing a whole bar of health of a commander asset or tank. Jeeps take longer to get points from because they repair faster.
And as for parachutes, you can't deploy one until your gun has disappeared.
Yes what everyone already said. To get the most repair points in a game, play operation cleansweep or similar map, and hide near the artillery (not next to it) as soon as the arty gets wasted, go repair each one for a point for each fully repaired arty. Also works for all other commander assets. I once got tons of points for this. Sadly it was after i exited i realised i chose a non ranked server because my initial intention was to check a few glitches. Sigh...
I thought with parachute you press '9' once to put your weapon away and then '9' again to open the parachute (works for me) but it seems I was wrong.
Actually, pressing 9 will launch the parachute, and pressing 9 again will put away the parachute when you're in the air, sending you back into freefall.
make sure ur not in a closed area like between buildings or else it wont deploy..tapping helps but it usually only works once when ur falling ur gun disappears

I'm pretty sure. I've done that many times when I'm falling from great heights, but you don't really have much time to do it when you're falling small distances.
