is there any way to change the fighting armies in each map? Eg: can i set a battle in Karkand with euro forces agains china ???

Yes, it is possible, but only in single player. you have to change the files, but i dont know which one! I believe someone did karkand with insurgents and SAS once, maybe you should ask around for him and see what he says!

I thought someone with some skill could just go into a map and change the armys and than make that into a custom map for unranked play.
